Trullo Aprìco is in via Monte San Gabriele, in Alberobello, in the heart of the Monti district, surrounded by over a thousand trulli. In front of us, the other hill covered with trulli, the Aia Piccola district. Trullo Siamese is just twenty meters away, the trullo church of Sant’Antonio di Padova three hundred meters away. Ten minutes on foot and you will be in front of the Trullo Sovrano, behind the Basilica dei Santi Medici.
In the countryside around Alberobello, the ancient Abbey of Barsento dominates the Canale di Pirro.
To the south-east you will meet the wonderful countryside of Valle d’Itria, dotted with dry stone walls, trulli, olive trees and vineyards. This is the direction to visit the whitewashed historic center of Locorotondo, the baroque city of Martina Franca, Cisternino, Ceglie Messapica and the white city Ostuni.
Along the Adriatic coast you will meet the seaside village of Monopoli, with its coves and the castle, the cliffs overlooking the sea of Polignano a Mare, the archaeological excavations of Egnazia.
To the north-west, the village of Noci, the caves of Castellana and the carnival of Putignano.
